Tired of the everyday hustle and bustle, the endless rat race and the neighbours on your doorstep? Seeking solitude and an escape from the busy city life?

Kolobe Ya Naga Bush Lodge was established in 2013. It is an exclusive privately owned farmhouse that we refer to as “Die Boshuis” (The Bush House), located inside the Dinokeng Game Reserve. 30 minutes drive North of Pretoria and less than 90 minutes from OR Tambo International Airport.

The meaning of "Kolobe Ya Naga" is "Warthog of the Bush" or
"Bush Pig".

Unlike the Kruger National Park there are no chalets and other guests in close range. You have the entire “Boshuis” exclusively to yourself and your family or friends. Your closest neighbours are the host and his wife’s farmhouse about 200 meters away.

The game reserve is home to the African Big Five. Lion, buffalo, elephant, leopard, rhino and all other animals are all free-roaming inside the game reserve. For your safety the accommodation is completely fenced in with electrical game fencing. Although the game reserve currently has limited self-drive routes, we do offer private exclusive game drives.

		When we mean solitude, we mean SOLITUDE. “Die Boshuis” is self-catering accommodation and there is no TV available. The stay at “Die Boshuis” is meant to put you in touch with nature and help you to switch off from the modern world. Just staring into a burning fire, or watching the stars in the night sky, with the sound of a lion perhaps roaring in the background will definitely help you to relax. For those important rugby games there is a big screen TV available at Posh Functions, located about 500 meters from “Die Boshuis”. Posh Functions also provide breakfasts, lunches, dinners and take-aways. If you don’t feel like cooking meals during your stay, their pizzas are fantastic. They also have spa facilities available, if more relaxation is needed. Don’t try and walk over to the venue, rather make use of your vehicle. Apart from the game drives there are
other activities available for the adventurer in you, like micro-light flights. There is no better way to view game, than from the air. For the avian enthusiast we have excellent bird life, just a pair of binoculars away.

Kolobe Ya Naga Bush Lodge is a place of solitude and tranquillity. PARTIES are NOT ALLOWED, this includes 21st BIRTHDAY PARTIES, BACHELOR PARTIES and BACHELORETTE PARTIES. If it comes to light that the venue will be used for such a party during the guest’s stay, the guest will forfeit their booking as well as the entire amount payed for the reservation.

* Please Note : For the safety of your pets, no pets are allowed. All animals, including the predators like lions and leopards are free-roaming and there are no fences except for the electric game fences around each encampment.

Please also refrain from hiking through the bush, rather make use of your automobile when travelling inside the game reserve. No loud noise will be tolerated, as this will scare the animals away. We would like to encourage the animals to come as close as possible to the accommodation enclosures.
