"Die Boshuis" (The Bush House)

“Die Boshuis” is a 3 bedroom farmhouse that has been modernized without losing the “farmhouse” character. It is ideal for families or groups and can comfortably accommodate 8 people.

The main bedroom is furnished with a king size bed and has an en-suite bathroom. Both the second and third bedrooms are furnished with a king size and a single bed. The third bedroom can be changed into 3 single beds. The second and third bedrooms share a bathroom. Both bathrooms boast with a modern frameless shower, washbasin, toilet and modern styled tile work.

electrical appliances. The kitchen has a breakfast nook that seats 8 people. Whilst having your meal you can enjoy a lovely view of the bush. Most of the interior lighting is operated by motion sensors.

Please take note that only the boma/braai area will be serviced, if requested.

“Die Boshuis” consist of both a front and rear veranda, as well as a large boma and “braai” (barbeque) area. We provide one wheel barrow of fire wood for free after which you can purchase fire wood for R15 a bag. A splash pool is available for cooling off during the warm summer months. Facilities are available to heat up the water during those cooler winter months. Please bring your own swimming towels. Surrounding the house is a large lawn for kids to play around, or for relaxing and sunbathing in the sun. For your safety the entire encampment is fenced in with electrical game fencing.

* Mid week Monday to Thursday special rates are available to pensioners. * Please phone for group bookings as you may also qualify for a group special rate. * EXTREMELY IMPORTANT * Kolobe Ya Naga Bush Lodge is a place of solitude and tranquillity. PARTIES are NOT ALLOWED, this includes 21st BIRTHDAY PARTIES, BACHELOR PARTIES and BACHELORETTE PARTIES. If it comes to light that the venue will be used for such a party during the guest’s stay, the guest will forfeit their booking as well as the entire amount payed for the reservation.

* Please Note : For the safety of your pets, no pets are allowed. All animals, including the predators like lions and leopards are free-roaming and there are no fences except for the electric game fences around each encampment.

Please also refrain from hiking through the bush, rather make use of your automobile when travelling inside the game reserve. No loud noise will be tolerated, as this will scare the animals away. We would like to encourage the animals to come as close as possible to the accommodation enclosures.
